Assistant Manager – Security Operations Centre (SOC)

The Security Operations Centre - Assistant Manager role will involve planning, designing, building, and maintaining SOC and Next-Generation SOC services within the government sector. You will work as part of a specialized team advising government and industry clients on complex strategic issues.

  • Knowledge of SOC tools and technologies like SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Experience assessing SOC maturity, managing SOC services, and implementing improvements.
  • Ability to integrate technology solutions into client issues and opportunities.
  • Experience developing security operating models to maximize technology use.

Applicants must hold SC Clearance due to the role's nature.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Team management and project structuring skills.
  • Proven achievement in consulting or industry roles.
  • Degree or higher in Information Security, IT, or STEM fields.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
  • Experience in 'Big 4' or mid-tier consulting firms.

Location: Primarily based in Southwest England with weekly site visits.
