Job Description:

This is a Home Based role, which requires travel throughout the UK to client sites. We seek an experienced Software Implementation Project Manager to work with our Government, Health, Housing, and Digital customers. Projects involve systems implementation and consultancy in areas such as Housing, Public Protection, Revenues and Benefits, Document Management, Health, or specific projects for Central Government (e.g., Blue Badge, HGV Charging).

Projects vary from large, requiring dedicated project managers, to smaller engagements, with each acting in a supplier delivery role.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple projects successfully across various customers
• Supporting pre-sales activities, including ITT responses and project documentation
• Ensuring sound commercial proposals based on experience and knowledge
• Leading teams post-contract to deliver project outcomes
• Planning projects with clients and setting up project organization per Prince2 principles
• Monitoring progress and billing, maintaining client contact until completion
• Forecasting and securing revenue from project milestones
• Reporting progress to internal stakeholders
• Being highly visible to clients and contributing to project board meetings

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Experience managing complex projects, especially in the public sector
• Prince2 qualification or experience
• Leadership and motivation skills for teams and clients
• Ability to work commercially and make informed decisions
• Experience with software implementation projects in UK Public Services
• Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad

Desirable:

• Experience in Local Government, Housing, or Health from a supplier perspective
• Prince2 certification (if not listed as essential)
• Experience with NEC products
