Job summary

XPO Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking two Customs Specialists Nights to join our busy freight-forwarding team, working 4 on 3 off with two shifts: 19:30-06:00. The role focuses on processing import and export documentation and ensuring timely submissions to customs authorities.

You will complete customs entries for UK and Ireland, monitor holds at ports, support KPI targets, and hand over to the next shift.

Qualifications

• Customs processing experience in import/export and freight-forwarding.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude and drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Completing customs entries (export, import, transit) for a variety of customers in both the UK and Ireland.
• Submitting documentation to customs agencies. Monitor holds on goods at ports of entry and resolve queries from customs authorities
• Follow customer and internal SOPs, SLAs and KPI management.
• Complete handovers to following shift

We are currently looking to recruit 2 x Customs Specialists Nights, Working 4 on 3 off covering 2 shifts : Monday to Thursday 19:30-06:00 & Tuesday to Friday 19:30-06:00

What You' llDo On a Typical Day
