XPO Logistics in Leigh is seeking a talented Transport Coordinator for a full-time night shift, based at the Regional Hub in Leigh. You will coordinate the transport operations on and off site to meet customer and XPO expectations, ensuring efficient delivery and collection of freight.

The role requires a good understanding of fast-paced transport teams, strong communication with stakeholders, and solid Excel/Outlook skills. Salary up to £30,000, 25 days holiday and pension are offered.

Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis on our night shift, working Monday to Friday, This is for our XPO shared user network based at the Regional Hub in Leigh.

Pay, Benefits And More
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Co-ordinate the transport operations on & off site to meet both customer and XPO business expectations
• Work as part of the XPO night shift team to achieve all operational targets
• Plan the cost-efficient delivery and collection of our customers freight ensuring excellent service levels at all times.
• Ensure that all drivers are compliant transport legislation/working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• A good understating of fast-paced transport teams
• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
