WR Logistics is seeking a Customs Coordinator for a 12-month maternity cover to manage import and export entries while ensuring compliance with UK customs regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs coordination or customs clerk role.
• Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures for imports and exports.
• Experience using CDS or other customs systems.

A well-established and growing logistics business is seeking a Customs Coordinator to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods across international borders.

You’ll be working as part of an experienced customs team, handling a variety of import and export entries while ensuring full compliance with UK customs regulations.

The Role

• Prepare and submit customs declarations (imports & exports)
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and international trade requirements
• Liaise with clients, hauliers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments
• Handle documentation checks and resolve any discrepancies
• Monitor shipments and respond to any customs-related queries
• Work with systems such as CDS and other customs platforms

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Customs Coordinator / Customs Clerk role
• Strong understanding of UK customs procedures (imports & exports)
• Experience using CDS / customs systems
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
