WR Logistics is seeking a Customs Coordinator for a 12-month maternity cover to manage import and export entries while ensuring compliance with UK customs regulations.

You will be part of an experienced customs team, handling a range of declarations and liaising with clients, hauliers, and internal teams to keep shipments moving smoothly. Attention to detail and proactive communication are essential skills for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs coordination or customs clerk role.
• Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures for imports and exports.
• Experience using CDS or other customs systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declarations (imports & exports).
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and international trade requirements.
• Liaise with clients, hauliers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments.
• Handle documentation checks and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor shipments and respond to any customs-related queries.
• Work with CDS and other customs platforms.
