Job summary

SDW Recruitment Ltd. are seeking a Customs Coordinator to join the team in Totton, near Southampton. You will learn to prepare import and export customs declarations for cargo entering and leaving the UK, while delivering excellent customer service under tight deadlines.

The role supports a Customs team in a forwarder environment with a focus on accuracy and timely processing. A proactive, independent worker who collaborates well with colleagues will thrive here, with a hybrid work option

Qualifications

• Experience in customs operations or logistics provides a strong foundation.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Familiar with import/export documentation and customs procedures.

Are you currently working in a logistics role, and keen to expand your knowledge of Customs procedures & forwarding? The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Customs Coordinator to join their team based in Totton, Southampton. The successful candidate will join an established Customs team and learn be responsible for completing import & export Customs declarations for cargo coming into & out of the UK. The successful candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills and be able to work too tight deadlines.

Essential Criteria

• Prior experience in customs operations or logistics preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
