Uniserve in Felixstowe is seeking an experienced Customs Compliance Specialist to ensure regulatory compliance across our import operations. You will audit declarations, manage post-clearance actions, and support offshore auditing functions while acting as a subject matter expert for internal teams and clients.

The role requires strong knowledge of customs legislation, Incoterms, and duty regimes, plus proven auditing and training delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customs compliance and post-clearance procedures.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, tariff classification, and duty relief regimes.
• Experience auditing declarations and managing post-clearance applications.
• Experience delivering training to clients and teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a client-focused approach.
• High proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Audit import declarations for accuracy and compliance.
• Standardize audit processes and report metrics to management.
• Support offshore audit teams and training initiatives.
• Lead post-clearance actions, amendments and disclosures.
• Manage post-clearance applications with authorities.
• Onboard new clients and review master data workflows.
• Respond to trade queries from clients and operations.
