Job summary

Customs Support Group B.V. in Felixstowe seeks a proactive Customs Specialist to handle import/export declarations, customer instructions, and compliance across road, sea and air freight. You will work with customers, HMRC, and European offices to ensure efficient clearance.

You will rate and manage jobs in Microsoft Dynamics, support month-end reporting, and continuously improve customs processes and service quality. A collaborative, detail‑driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs operations, customs clearance, import/export processes.
• Knowledge of UK customs requirements and HMRC legislation.
• Familiarity with CPCs, UK Tariff, and related procedures.
• Experience with road, sea, and air freight is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete import/export customs declarations per instructions and HMRC rules.
• Submit accurate entries using ASM Sequoia with complete documentation.
• Manage customer documents and communications for designated customers.
• Issue clear customs clearance instructions to agents and European offices.
• Prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and KPIs.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders through clear communication.
• Rate, create and manage jobs in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Support month-end reporting and maintain customs knowledge.
