Job summary

Co-op Group in England is seeking Customer Team Members to join our local Co-op store. The role includes working in our in-store bakery, tills, and helping with daily operations on a 20-hour per week contract with overtime opportunities.

You’ll deliver friendly service, stock shelves, and support promotions and memberships while contributing to a welcoming community store environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).
• Age 18 or over to apply due to early/late hours and store needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, thoughtful service to customers and help resolve issues.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on the shop floor, tills, bakery areas, and assist with daily operations.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy, and support store performance.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support local community initiatives.
