Job summary

Speedyfreight is seeking a customer-focused team member to join our Swindon branch. You will spend your day talking with customers, drivers and suppliers, while managing bookings and emails to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You'll also spend about one day each week supporting business development, helping generate new opportunities, build relationships and contribute to the branch’s growth. A great fit if you enjoy multitasking and getting stuck in.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a busy office or branch environment.
• Confident on the phone and able to manage inquiries professionally.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers, drivers and suppliers to coordinate bookings.
• Manage bookings and respond to emails to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Support business development tasks around one day per week to generate new opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication across teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to the branch’s growth through relationship building and proactive support.
