Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Customer Service Advisor for a fixed-term 12-month assignment in the UK. You will handle enquiries by phone, email, and live website requests, manage orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback, and build strong relationships with customers.

The role emphasises upselling opportunities, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to improving service levels in a fast-paced, highly operational business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
• Experience handling inbound order/sales enquiries and delivering successful transactions.
• Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing; build relationships with customers.
• Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative in line with policies and pricing structures.
• An effective team member with a collaborative approach.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced operational environment with multiple tasks.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and suggesting process improvements.
• Good level of IT literacy and willingness to learn new IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries by phone, email, and website requests.
• Manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback, taking ownership of the customer journey.
• Identify upselling opportunities and maximise revenue while maintaining service quality.
• Build and nurture relationships with regular customers to drive retention.
• Support a busy, hands-on, and highly operational service environment with accuracy and speed.
