Job summary

BMW UK, Financial Services in Farnborough offers a placement year in the Customer, Strategy & ESG team. You will support the development and monitoring of business strategy through customer and market analysis, and assist in communicating insights to stakeholders.

You will work with senior leaders, produce customer insight reports, monitor transformation targets, and help drive Sustainability initiatives while coordinating with BMW Group entities globally.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Management or a similar field with a 2:1 or higher.
• Basic customer services experience (retail/hospitality).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Quick to learn IT applications and online tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Interest in sustainability and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Customer Strategy in shaping business strategy with senior leaders.
• Track and report progress against transformation targets and initiatives.
• Produce and present customer insight reports highlighting pain points and successes.
• Deliver market insight reports to teams and committees.
• Support development and monitoring of Sustainability strategy and initiatives.
• Assist with the Customer Driven Organisation and Customer Committee.
• Ensure engagement with international BMW Group entities and virtual meetings.
