Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society in Bishops Itchington is hiring Customer Service Assistants for its food store. This part-time, permanent role offers 12 hours per week with a clear pathway to Team Leader and Store Manager.

You will deliver friendly service, keep shelves stocked and shop floor ready, handle deliveries and stock rotation, maintain high cleanliness and food safety, and support promotions. You'll work as part of a team to achieve store targets, with full training provided.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly while delivering a great shopping experience:

• Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient service to every customer
• Keep shelves fully stocked, well-presented, and shop floor ready
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Support promotions and merchandising activity
• Work as part of a team to achieve store targets

You’ll be visible on the shop floor, ready to help customers and step in wherever needed to keep the store running at pace.
