Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society is recruiting Customer Service Assistants for Cross Keys, Bedworth, 8 hours per week. This role offers a clear pathway to Team Leader and Store Manager roles and a supportive training environment.

As a Customer Service Assistant you will deliver friendly service, keep shelves stocked, handle deliveries, and maintain cleanliness and food safety. No prior retail experience is required as full training is provided, with progression across our store network.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly while delivering a great shopping experience:

• Deliver friendly, helpful, and efficient service to every customer
• Keep shelves fully stocked, well-presented, and shop floor ready
• Handle deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Support promotions and merchandising activity
• Work as part of a team to achieve store targets

You’ll be visible on the shop floor, ready to help customers and step in wherever needed to keep the store running at pace.
