Job summary

Tesco UK is looking for store colleagues who put customers at the centre of everything we do. You’ll provide friendly, natural service, meet customers, and help across the store with shelf replenishment, checkout, and online order picking.

Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with some locations offering extra payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week (roles from 12 hours are also available), and we’re inclusive, diverse, and committed to an accessible

Qualifications

To be over 18 for this role.
A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.

Responsibilities

Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
