Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring store colleagues to deliver friendly, helpful service across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout, and online order picking.

The role offers part-time hours with shifts scheduled within the availability windows seen in the ad, and pays £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores. A minimum of 16 hours per week is guaranteed, with some locations offering other hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
