Job summary

One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco, is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will play an important role in day-to-day store operations by delivering excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store's appearance.

You will engage with customers with passion, contribute to safe shop practices, follow Think 25 when handling age‑restricted items, and support shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a retail environment.
• Ability to handle cash and payments accurately.
• Willingness to work across tills, replenishment and stock routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and resolve queries.
• Stock shelves and ensure store presentation is up to standard.
• Process payments at tills and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised store environment.
• Assist with replenishment, online orders and stock checks as required.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Support shifts as needed and participate in community events.
