Job summary

Bearward Engineering, a division of Wabtec UK Ltd, Northampton-based, is recruiting a Customer Service Administrator on a maternity cover contract. The role, based onsite in Northampton, involves creating sales/aftermarket reports, handling quotations and order processing, and liaising with customers to confirm order status. 23 days annual leave, life assurance, parking, and retail discounts accompany the role.

Hours are Mon-Thu 08:00–16:30 and Fri 08:00–15:30. Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service, Coordination, or as an Administrator is desirable.
• Able to work autonomously with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Creation of Sales / Aftermarket reports.
• Responding to customer inquiries.
• Creation of quotations, order input, and following the orders through to the point of dispatch.
• Liaise with customers to check on their order status.
• Creation of Aftermarket spares listings for existing and new customers
• Proactively work alongside the customer service and account management team to develop strategies to achieve increased aftermarket sales revenue.
