The role covers Customer Service, Production Planning and Transport, with holiday cover duties and opportunities to learn across the operation. Office-based, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.

Are you an organised, confident and customer-focused professional looking for a varied role where no two days are quite the same?

We're looking for a Customer Service Co-Ordinator to join a successful food manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and getting involved across different areas of the business.

You won't be restricted to customer service alone. You'll work closely with Customer Service, Production Planning and Transport, and will be trained to provide holiday cover across both Production Planning and Transport when required.

What will you be doing?

As Customer Service Co-Ordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping things running smoothly and ensuring customers receive an excellent service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a key contact for customers and internal teams.
• Building strong working relationships with colleagues across all levels of the business.
• Coordinating customer requirements and ensuring orders are processed accurately.
• Working closely with Production Planning and Transport to ensure customer needs are met.
• Identifying potential issues, escalating where necessary and helping to find practical solutions.
• Maintaining accurate customer, order and operational information.
• Working with pallet systems.
• Managing and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines.
• Providing holiday cover for Production Planning and Transport.
• Taking ownership of your responsibilities and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

• The ability to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines.
• Confidence using computers and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage.
• Knowledge or experience of pallet systems.
• The ability to identify problems and take a proactive approach to resolving them.
• The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business when required.

Experience in customer service, food manufacturing, production planning, logistics or transport would be advantageous, but we're particularly interested in finding someone with the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn.

This is more than a traditional customer service role. You'll have the opportunity to learn different aspects of the operation, develop your skills and become a valuable part of a busy and successful food manufacturing business.
