Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You’ll provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store’s appearance in a dynamic environment where no day is the same.

You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, supported by on-the-job coaching, while upholding safety, policy, and the Think 25 guidance for age-restricted products.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service across store areas.
• Be willing to receive on-the-job coaching and feedback.
• Follow safety, security and cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to Think 25 policy for age-restricted products.

Responsibilities

• Know my customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Encourage feedback from customers via Have Your Say surveys.
• Work across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Put training into practice to work safely.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Be knowledgeable about store performance and your role in delivering profit.
• Follow company values and policies.
• Clock in and out to ensure accurate pay.
• Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment.
• Keep aisles clear and maintain a clean, organized store.
• May run the shift in absence of Shift Leader/Store Manager.
• Complete required checks if Post Office Local exists.
