Job summary

Wickes in- store is seeking a friendly and proactive part-time Retail Assistant to help customers with queries and payments. You’ll be part of a team delivering great service, maintaining store presentation, and supporting daily operations.

The role offers learning and development opportunities and a benefits package alongside a competitive hourly rate. The position is a 25-hour fixed-term contract (six months) with flexibility across store opening hours and weekdays, including one weekend day.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Able to assist customers with queries and payments.
• Friendly, proactive approach to helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and deliver a high level of service.
• Keep shelves stocked and store presentation tidy.

You’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need. Think of it as a down-to-earth place to work, where you get to go up in the world.

Shift Pattern: 25-hour fixed-term contract (6 months) working weekdays plus one weekend day, requiring as much flexibility as possible across store opening hours.

About you...

Every day you’ll dealing with and assisting customers, so it’s important that you offer every person that walks through our doors a high level of customer service. We look for someone who ideally has experience working in a similar role.
