Job summary

Wickes is hiring for a flexible retail associate to support customers across multiple shifts. You’ll be helping customers, processing transactions, and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

You’ll join a team that values training, development and a supportive, inclusive workplace. Shifts include weekends and evenings as outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high level customer service in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to find products and answer questions.
• Process transactions at the till with accuracy and friendliness.
• Maintain store standards and merchandising.
• Support stock replenishment and store operations as needed.

The Role...

Whatever your role in and around the store, everything you do will be focused on the customer experience. Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile.Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you. You’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need. Think of it as a down-to-earth place to work, where you get to go up in the world.

We are looking for a flexible candidate who can potentially cover 3 of the following shifts per week:

Sunday: 12:00 - 16:30

09:00 - 16:30

Monday: 12:00 - 20:30

Thursday: 12:00 - 20:30

Friday: 12:00 - 20:30

17:00 - 20:30

Saturday: 11:00 - 19:30

Every day you’ll be dealing with and assisting customers, so it’s important that you offer every person that walks through our doors a high level of customer service. We look for someone who ideally has experience working in a similar role.
