Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to help maximise store performance through outstanding service and knowledgeable product guidance. You will support stock management, merchandising, cash handling, and health & safety compliance while assisting customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; there are strong progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused
• Supporting the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge
• Taking ownership of a designated department and driving sales through merchandising and promotions
• Reviewing stock levels and adjusting seasonally to meet customer needs
• Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures
• Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance
