Job summary

Avis Budget UK Limited in Bathgate is seeking a Customer Service Agent to support customers through the rental lifecycle. You will handle calls and emails, assist on-site customers, and coordinate vehicle changes, service bookings, and invoicing.

The role emphasizes accurate communication and proactive problem solving. With a Monday to Friday schedule, you’ll contribute to fleet and revenue goals while delivering a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and effective communication with customers.
• Experience in customer service and handling inquiries.
• Valid driving license and willingness to engage with field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and dealing with both calls and emails from customers requiring assistance
• Dealing with customers who attend the store in a professional manner
• Arranging vehicle change overs and vehicle rotation for customers
• Identifying vehicles requiring service and MOT, booking them in and communicating this with our customers
• Dealing with the processing of new rentals, and off-hires
• Processing hire invoices for customers
• Managing and processing jobs for vehicles off the road
• Managing and processing breakdowns for customers
• Any other relevant tasks supporting the wider business
