Job summary

ACL Vans in Bathgate is seeking a Customer Service Agent to look after customers' rental needs on a day-to-day basis. You will work in a fast-paced environment, delivering a high level of service from initial enquiry through to end of rental.

Key duties include handling calls and emails, organising vehicle changes, booking MOTs and servicing, processing rentals and off-hires, and supporting invoicing. A full driving licence and a positive, can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Computer literate with ability to use standard office software.
• Excellent communication skills and experience delivering customer service.
• Friendly, positive 'can-do' attitude and proactive approach to helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails from customers seeking assistance.
• Assist walk-in customers in-store professionally.
• Arrange vehicle changes and rotations for customers.
• Identify service/MOT needs and book them with customers.
• Process new rentals and off-hires to support fleet management.
• Manage hire invoices and vehicle-related tasks.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where customer requirements are constantly changing, providing a high level of customer service. You will support the customer from their initial enquiry to end of rental off hire, ensuring any customer queries are dealt with. A Hire Administrator plays a key role in the delivery of both fleet and revenue goals.
