Job summary

DSV Road Ltd., a global transport and logistics leader, is seeking an Inventory Operator in Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on maintaining stock accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

You will perform cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies, produce inventory reports and collaborate with warehouse, operations and customer service teams while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or logistics
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
• Import and export freight forwarding experience
• Experience across multiple transport modes and industry sectors
• Logistics and distribution industry experience
• Experience working with operational KPI reporting and performance management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and stock checks
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies

• Monitor stock movements and system transactions

Inventory Operator

Stoke on Trent

Mon-Fri, 09.00-17.30, 37.5 hours

At DSV, we keep global supply chains moving. As an Inventory Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure we deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

• Maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system
