Customer Service Advisor - Environment Agency
Location: Rotherham (training may take place in Sheffield)

Hybrid Working: After training, you may be offered to work four days from home and one day in the office per week (subject to business needs).
Pay: 12.52 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Sector: Public Sector
Hours: Fixed shifts between 8 AM - 6 PM (e.g., 8 AM - 4 PM, 9 AM - 5 PM, or 10 AM - 6 PM).

About the Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be in charge of handling specific call types during peak periods. The work we do in our contact centre is centred around helping customers be aware of regulations, guidance and processes that might apply to them, or to take information from customers who need to report something to us.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Handling incoming calls, gathering and providing information based on customer needs
  2. Sending follow-up emails to confirm discussions and share resources
  3. Assisting customers with documentation and compliance processes
  4. Carrying out administrative procedures to assist the team
