Connells Group UK is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor (often called a Property Manager) to join our Lettings Department in Birkenhead, The Wirral. You will support property management and tenancy services for branches, landlords and tenants with a focus on first‑class customer service.

The role starts at £25,000 with a strong training pathway and opportunities for industry qualifications that include a £1,000 salary increase on passing.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact, resolving client and colleague queries.
• Coordinate urgent and routine repairs and maintenance.
• Liaise with tradespeople/contractors and keep customers informed.
• Organise safety inspections and manage remedial works.
• Liaise with landlords after property visits.
• Assist customers with general tenancy queries.
• Conduct weekly partnership calls and welcome calls with new customers.
• Respond promptly and courteously to landlords, tenants, contractors and internal partners.
• Provide first‑class service to maximise customer retention.
• Ensure deadlines, service levels and KPIs are met.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Customer Service Advisor (Also known locally as a Property Manager) to complement our Property Management Team within our Lettings Department in Birkenhead: The Wirral. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will provide property management and tenancy support services to branches, landlords and tenants.

Starting Salary £25,000

Key responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor.

• Act as a central point of contact managing the effective resolution of queries from clients and colleagues
• Coordinating urgent and routine repairs and maintenance
• Liaising with trades people/contractors and keeping customers up to date
• Organising safety inspections and managing remedial works
• Liaising with landlords following regular property visits
• Assisting customers with general tenancy queries
• Carrying out weekly partnership calls with colleagues and welcome calls with new customers
• Dealing promptly and courteously to communication with landlord, tenants, contractors, and internal partners
• Providing a first-class service to maximise customer retention
• Ensuring personal and team deadlines are met, service levels maintained and KPI's achieved

Skills and Experience required to be successful as a Customer Service Advisor.
