It’s not about what you know. It’s who you are. As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be doing one of the most important jobs in our business—looking after our customers. This involves building relationships, understanding their needs, and helping them do it better.

In this Fixed Term Role, you will work in the customer contact centre handling major customers, responsible for delivering excellent service while using your product knowledge to maximize upselling opportunities. Your day will involve communicating with customers via telephone, email, and website requests. You will manage inbound and outbound calls to regional customers from one of our customer offices.

You’ll manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback, taking ownership of the customer journey and building relationships with regular customers. Additionally, you will coordinate daily deliveries and collections within the depot. You should enjoy planning and organizing, and thrive in a busy but friendly team environment.

  • Proven experience in a Customer Service role
  • Exceptional communication skills, including negotiating and influencing; ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to use judgment and initiative to make decisions aligned with company policies and pricing structures
  • Effective team player with a collaborative approach
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to handle a varied, fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks and deadlines with high accuracy
  • Commitment to continuous improvement; proactive in suggesting and implementing process and service enhancements
  • Good computer literacy in MS Office; eager to learn new IT systems and leverage technology in your role
