About the Role

As a Customer Service Advisor you’ll:

  • Get to know our members and support them in finding the right products and services that can provide Real Help With Real Life - whether that’s saving for a gap year trip, buying a first home, or anything in between.
  • Facilitate great conversations confidently through channel of choice, as you support our members in branch, over the phone and with the operation of their accounts online.
  • Forget sales targets, and enjoy the freedom to do what’s right.

You will be joining a positive and friendly team who are engaged and passionate about the society's aspirations, and will support your onboarding journey with YBS helping you to settle into your new role and make the most of the opportunities to provide exceptional customer service to our mortgage and savings customers on a daily basis. No two days are the same and your responsibilities will include day to day interactions with customers, providing support for savings and mortgage needs as well as providing a fantastic experience to both customers and colleagues alike. I am passionate about developing your potential, so if you have career development aspirations, or simply to be the best at your role, myself and the team at Stockton are there to support you every step of the way.

There are also opportunities to network with others in the wider area, region, network, and Head Office so you will be able to engage with others outside of your branch team, including those who are also onboarding at the same time. Occasionally you may be required to provide cover to branches in the area such as Ossett and Barnsley, another opportunity to gain exposure to a variation of our ways of working.”
