Job summary

TEC Partnership is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for the college, answering calls and welcoming visitors with a professional demeanour.

You will deliver high-quality customer service, manage queries, and maintain accurate data in college systems while supporting front-of-house operations and a range of administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative role with experience of dealing with customers and a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Literacy and numeracy to at least Level 2 are required.
  • Level 2 English and Maths are essential.
  • Experience in education sector and its operational environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and direct queries from the switchboard.
  • Provide accurate information to learners, staff and visitors.
  • Input and maintain data in college systems promptly.
  • Support front-of-house operations and reception.
  • Carry out administrative and support tasks as required.

Job description

The Customer Service Advisor is the first point of contact for the college, both via telephone and at reception, handling all visitor and customer enquiries. The role is key to creating a positive first impression and ensuring a welcoming, professional environment for learners, staff, and visitors.

  • Deliver a high-quality, responsive customer service
  • Answering and directing calls from the switchboard and directing queries.
  • Provide accurate information and effectively handle internal and external enquiries
  • Input and maintain accurate data within college systems in a timely manner
  • Support front-of-house operations, ensuring a professional and organised reception area

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in an administrative role with experience of dealing with customers and a wide range of stakeholders. An understanding of the education sector and its operational environment is also very beneficial, as is excellent organisational skills. Key Qualifications include: Level 2 (or GCSE equivalent) in English and Mathematics Level 2 qualification in Administration or a related field
