Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor for a leading car dealership in Milton Keynes. You will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and the public.

You will advise on estimated repair costs, upsell where appropriate, and manage timescales, invoices, and vehicle records. The role requires excellent communication and customer service, with a Mon-Fri 8am–6pm schedule and a Sat AM, 1-in-2 rota.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with a main dealership.
• Full driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are aware of service and repair work in a professional manner.
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs.
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements.
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system.
• Update customer and vehicle records.
• Document all warranty work per manufacturer policy.
• Prepare and complete invoices.

As Service Advisor you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

Duties include

• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system
• Update customer and vehicle records
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
• Preparation and completion of invoices

Requirements

• 2-years experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with a main dealership
• Full driving licence

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm
• Saturday AM, 1-in-2 rota
