Customer Service Advisor

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join The Sovini Group.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be expected to:

  1. Provide first point of resolution to customers, resolving all customer issues, and taking a proactive approach to customer care to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  2. Achieve individual and team performance indicators and service delivery plans, with performance assessments via quality monitoring, 1-2-1’s, appraisals, and team meetings.
  3. Engage proactively with customers across all service areas, including low-level rent arrears, surveys, appointment arrangements, customer involvement/welfare, and housing register processes.
  4. Work in partnership with internal and external service areas and agencies to achieve high customer satisfaction.
  5. Commit to equality and diversity, promoting non-discriminatory practices in all work aspects.
  6. Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act, taking reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts and omissions.

To be successful in the role of Customer Service Advisor, you will need:

  1. 5 or more GCSEs, including Maths and English.
  2. Excellent communication skills across multiple channels, including Microsoft Teams, face-to-face, and email.
  3. Experience in Customer Service roles.
  4. Effective communication skills with people at all levels via various methods.
  5. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
  6. Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  8. A flexible 'can-do' attitude and willingness to gain experience across all business areas.
  9. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Additional advantageous but not essential experience or knowledge includes:

  1. NVQ Level 2 in Call Handling or Customer Services.
  2. Experience working in a Contact Centre environment.
  3. Experience within a Social Housing environment.
