Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Opportunity

The Customer Service Advisor will serve as a key contact point for Airband customers, handling queries via email, phone, and social media. This role involves detailed administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service, including technical fact-finding conversations. The ideal candidate will have a confident telephone manner, strong communication skills, and a quick problem-solving ability to deliver rapid solutions across the customer lifecycle.

Airband is an internet service provider delivering high-speed broadband to rural communities. We are focused on expanding our customer base and are seeking talented individuals to join us during this growth phase.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot and investigate customer complaints.
  2. Respond to inquiries via telephone and social media.
  3. Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
  4. Answer calls within agreed SLAs.
  5. Perform administrative tasks, process cancellations, and support the retentions team.
  6. Represent Airband professionally, contributing to team goals and targets.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or contact centers.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of customer service excellence.
  • Experience in Telecoms, ISP, or Utilities is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Background in sales with a focus on deadlines and measurable results.
