About The Role

CUSTOMER SERVICES - IT’S A PEOPLE THING

Are you someone who can start a conversation in an empty room? One of those people who always manages to get things done, no matter how much there is to do? If so, there’s a place in our Customer Service team for you.

It’s not about what you know. It’s who you are. As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be responsible for looking after our customers, building relationships, understanding their needs, and helping them do it better.

You will deliver a best-in-class service, using your product knowledge to maximize upselling opportunities. Your days will involve communicating via phone, email, and website requests, managing orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback, and owning the customer journey to ensure an excellent experience.

This position is ideal for individuals from a customer service background, preferably with industry experience, eager to see the impact of their work in a dynamic, service-focused environment.

About You

We will provide training and development to support your success. To thrive as a Hire Controller, you should have:

  • Proven experience in customer service, handling inbound enquiries and transactions
  • Experience in hire or construction industries is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong product knowledge and eagerness to learn about our offerings
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities
  • A collaborative and supportive team approach
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Office and enthusiasm for learning new IT systems
