A leading insurance agency in Ripon seeks a Customer Service Adviser to expand their business. The role involves managing client relationships, selling insurance products, and providing excellent service. Ideal candidates have a sales background and strong communication skills. Full training is provided in a supportive environment.
Salary dependant on experience
Full Time position but part time considered

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Ripon Agency.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued expansion of our business. Working with both existing clients and introducing new clients to the NFU Mutual in line with our long term strategic goals and objectives.
As a customer service adviser, you will possess a keen sales focus coupled with top class customer service.
This will include –
• Managing and developing client relationships both face to face and on the telephone.
• Selling NFU Mutual insurance products to both current and new customers
• Following up potential sales opportunities, either identified by yourself or by another member of the team, with the aim of upselling the products
• Handling customer queries efficiently and using effective questioning to gain a clear understanding of the customer to allow us to find the best solutions first time
• Adhere to NFU Mutual regulations in terms of processing of information and documentation
If you are looking to start or grow your insurance career, we are looking for an ambitious, innovative & friendly individual to join our team. The successful candidate must have a solid background in sales, ideally within the insurance industry.
You must be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent customer services skills
• Professional telephone manner
• A confident & proactive approach to customers
• Excellent written & verbal skills with experience of business writing
• Organised with high attention to detail
• An ability to clearly prioritise & self-manage
• Good I.T. skills with knowledge of Microsoft office packages
• Ability to think both tactically & strategically
• Excellent team building skills, flexibility to multitask & support colleagues where necessary
• Innovative & forward thinking to identify new customers & market sectors for the business to evolve into, in line with NFU Mutual’s risk appetite
