A salary of GBP 33,000 to GBP 35,000 per annum plus a Company Car/Van.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 days a week (48 hours).

Hours of work are either Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday, from 6am to 6pm.

The position is commutable from York, Northallerton, Ripon, Harrogate, Castle Howard, Tadcaster, Wetherby, Darlington, and Middlesbrough.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager based near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate for this day shift role will be responsible for providing engineering support to the production team.

Duties

1. Carry out all planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance systems.
2. Investigate, perform root cause analyses, and resolve problems related to machines; provide support for process and quality issues.
3. Ensure all related documentation and record-keeping for the shift are up to date.
4. Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support the planned maintenance system.
5. Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines and requirements.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance engineering role.
• Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as collaboratively with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production and engineering environment.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Proactive and motivated, with the ability to resolve intricate situations.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
• Mechanically biased.
