Role Overview

Duties

To work in a busy Agricultural Service Department performing maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery. This work will often be done at customer’s farms, requiring local travel around the area.

Qualities

• The role requires professionalism and active promotion of Ripon Farm Services with positivity and integrity.
• Use your knowledge and experience to advise customers on optimization techniques for their machines, products, and services.
• Perform routine maintenance diagnostics and repairs both in the field and at the depot workshop as needed.
• Complete all reports and administration related to work assignments promptly.
• Understand the manufacturer’s customer care processes.
• Complete mandatory training to support product knowledge and develop skills.
• Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, Company Policies, and Procedures to ensure safety for staff, customers, and visitors.
• Perform pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment and support service specialists when required.
• A valid driving license is required for operating company vehicles and agricultural equipment.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment is preferred but not mandatory; full training will be provided.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with flexible overtime including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
