Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking a Sales Advisor to join our Accrington branch team. You will deliver outstanding service to trade and retail customers, offering product guidance and building relationships.

This full-time role is Monday-Friday 7:30-17:00, and every other Saturday 08:00-12:00. You will receive training and opportunities for progression within the STARK Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to trade and retail customers, face-to-face and over the phone.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Develop new customer accounts while maintaining existing relationships.
• Work closely with suppliers and colleagues to deliver a great customer experience.
• Support stock control, merchandising and keep the branch clean, safe and organised.
• Follow company policies with a strong focus on health and safety.
