Job summary

The Rsc in Yeovil, England, is seeking a proactive Customer Relations Manager to join our Production Support team. You will manage customer orders from placement to delivery, ensuring that requirements and delivery commitments are achieved.

Working cross-functionally with production, procurement and logistics, you will coordinate progress, monitor delivery schedules and maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers to ensure expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience within CNC machining or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocated customer orders and day-to-day requirements, ensuring orders progress in line with delivery schedules.
• Maintain regular, proactive and reactive communication with customers, providing updates on progress and potential issues.
• Coordinate production progress and subcontract processing, ensuring timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve delivery issues, escalating if needed and maintaining professional customer relations.
• Provide weekly reporting to management highlighting customer feedback and ongoing issues.
