Job summary

IKEA Exeter is hiring Customer Relations Assistants to join a friendly team and help co-create the wonderful everyday for store guests. The role covers Check-Outs and Customer Relations / Returns with a 12-hour contract across three days per week, including weekends.

You will resolve customer issues, handle returns accurately, and assist customers with assembly and spare parts as needed, always prioritising a helpful, customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• You will be customer focused and able to resolve issues with tact and empathy.
• You should be computer literate and comfortable using technology.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints and return issues with speed and courtesy.
• Ensure accurate handling of returned products and escalate product issues as needed.
• Assist customers with product assembly support and arrange spare parts as required.

IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Customer Relations Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team. If you are looking for a role where you get to build your customer service skills and help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you. We have 12-hour contracts working on our Check-Outs and Customer Relations / Returns areas, where you would provide after sales support.

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 12 hour contracts working 3 days per week including 3 weekends out of 4. Between the hours 09:00am - 22:00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You will use your knowledge, resilience and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints, dealing positively and quickly with any issues raised.
• You ensure accurate handling of all returned products, highlighting and escalating any product issues immediately.
• Supporting customers experiencing difficulties in product assembly and where needed be able to order and exchange spare parts.
