Job summary

The Newt in Somerset is seeking a Customer Operations Executive to keep our customer journey seamless from order to delivery. You’ll work across customer service, transport and B2B operations, ensuring accurate order processing and clear, proactive communication.

A fast-moving role that rewards organisation and problem-solving with real impact. The role is based onsite in BA7, 40 hours across 5 days, with a driving license recommended and a starting salary of £27,720 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• GCSEs/A-Levels in English and Maths are essential for reporting and communication.
• Experience handling high-volume order processing and coordinating with multiple teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email with a professional experience.
• Support refunds, subscriptions, loyalty schemes, aftersales and retention activities.
• Help manage the customer experience during peak trading periods and monitor issues.
• Support delivery route planning, driver schedules and transport documentation.
• Liaise with carriers on bookings and deliveries, tracking orders and resolving queries.
