Are you organised, comfortable working with customers and colleagues, and interested in developing a career in logistics or supply chain?
We’re looking for a Customer Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team at our Blackford site. This is a great opportunity for someone relatively early in their career who wants to build practical experience across customer service, logistics and supply chain within Highland Spring.
You don’t need to have spent years working in logistics. You may already have some experience in customer service, administration, order processing, transport or supply chain, or you may be looking for an opportunity to take your next step into the sector.
You’ll be at the centre of our day-to-day logistics operation, helping to make sure Highland Spring products get from our warehouses to our customers accurately and on time. The role offers a salary of £28,615.59 and is based at our Blackford site, working 37.5 hours per week as part of our Supply Chain team.
Working closely with our Customer Supply Chain Coordinators, hauliers and third-party logistics partners, you’ll help keep orders moving and make sure our customers receive the service they expect.
You’ll coordinate customer orders, making sure they are allocated and ready for collection and delivery at the right time. You’ll work with our hauliers and third-party warehouses to arrange and monitor deliveries, check that orders have been processed accurately through our systems, and investigate any shipping or delivery issues that arise.
You’ll also support the team with haulage information, purchase orders and invoices, keep customer service and logistics trackers up to date, and help monitor our On Time In Full (OTIF) performance.
As you develop in the role, you’ll gain experience of the systems, processes and relationships that help keep a busy supply chain running smoothly.
We’re not expecting you to know everything from day one.
What matters most is that you’re organised, dependable and keen to learn. You’ll enjoy working with different people, communicate clearly and take pride in getting the details right.
You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems as part of the role. You’ll also need to be able to manage different priorities, solve problems and work well as part of a team.
Experience within FMCG, logistics or working with hauliers would be useful, but it isn’t essential. A background in customer service or administration could give you many of the transferable skills you need to succeed here.
At Highland Spring, how we work together matters just as much as what we deliver.
We’re a Team – we help each other, listen to others and work together to solve problems.
We’re Proud – we take ownership of our work, do what we say we will do and look for ways to keep improving.
We Care – we treat people fairly and respectfully, support our customers and colleagues, and recognise that everyone has a voice.
If you’re looking for a role where you can learn, build your experience and develop a career in logistics and supply chain, we’d love to hear from you.
