Job summary

Qualifications

About

Customer Insights Manager

Location: Remote-based role, ideally in South West London with regular travel to Kingston office (around 2 days per week)

Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £45-55K, plus additional benefits

Overview

Our Thumbprint team seeks a Customer Insight Manager to join us. Our products help brands identify sales opportunities and influence strategies to unlock growth in grocery multiple and independent convenience retail stores. Our main products are Dart and Pinpoint.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Creating actionable insights for client sales and supply teams, focusing on EPOS and execution analytics to identify sales growth opportunities.
  2. Engaging with and training sales and supply chain teams to maximize the value from analytics, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
  3. Developing internal networks to support client value propositions, championing analytics and insights.
  4. Building a strong external presence, becoming a respected and trusted source for clients and their customers.
  5. Playing an integral role within the internal Client Leadership team, including development and governance of an Annual Account Plan.
Candidate Profile

Must demonstrate experience in Relationship Management, Client Management, Communication, Insight generation and delivery, and Education.

Requirements
  • Experience in the FMCG sector, ideally with an FMCG brand, with knowledge of Grocery and Convenience sectors
  • Experience in Insights or Category Development, analyzing data, generating insights, and delivering recommendations
  • Experience working with large datasets, preferably EPOS sales or supply chain data (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, SKUTrak)
