Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Consultant to help design and implement secure CIAM solutions for clients across the UK. You will translate business needs into scalable technical designs and collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

You will advise on CIAM best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging identity trends, and contribute to go-to-market initiatives within the CIAM practice.

Qualifications

• Strong IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, federation, and privacy considerations.
• Experience delivering CIAM solutions in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Ability to translate complex CIAM concepts into business-friendly language.
• Understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR/UK) and their impact on identity solutions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Well-organised with delivery coordination across complex programs.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, including authentication, authorisation, federation, and decentralised identity
• Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms (e.g. Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Transmit, Azure AD B2C or similar)
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions in consulting or client-facing environments
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, UK Data Protection Act) and their impact on customer identity solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess challenges and propose effective solutions
• Well-organised with the ability to manage and support delivery across multiple or complex workstreams

Desirable Skills

• Experience with modern identity and security approaches (e.g. Zero Trust, adaptive authentication, API security)
• Familiarity with frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Experience integrating CIAM platforms into wider enterprise environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, or directory services (e.g. Active Directory)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
