Job summary

Accenture plc is seeking a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Consultant to lead secure identity initiatives for clients across the UK. You will partner with clients to design and implement CIAM solutions that scale to millions of users, translating business needs into technical designs.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders, advise on regulatory requirements, and explore biometric, passwordless and AI-driven approaches to strengthen identity security.

Qualifications

• Strong IAM concepts including authentication and authorization.
• Experience delivering CIAM solutions in consulting or client-facing environments.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, including authentication, authorisation, federation, and decentralised identity
• Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms (e.g. Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Transmit, Azure AD B2C or similar)
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions in consulting or client-facing environments
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, UK Data Protection Act) and their impact on customer identity solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess challenges and propose effective solutions
• Well-organised with the ability to manage and support delivery across multiple or complex workstreams

Desirable Skills

• Experience with modern identity and security approaches (e.g. Zero Trust, adaptive authentication, API security)
• Familiarity with frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Experience integrating CIAM platforms into wider enterprise environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, or directory services (e.g. Active Directory)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
