Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Specialist CIAM Consultant to partner with clients in London/UK Wide, delivering secure Customer Identity & Access Management solutions across complex programs. You will translate business needs into scalable designs for millions of users, collaborating with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to drive impactful identity projects.

You will advise on CIAM best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends, while exploring passwordless and AI-driven fraud

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IAM and CIAM concepts including authentication and authorization.
• Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms (Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Azure AD B2C or similar).
• Proven consulting or client-facing delivery experience in technology projects.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Knowledge of GDPR/UK data protection regulatory implications for customer identity.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Well-organised with multi-workstream delivery experience.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, including authentication, authorisation, federation, and decentralised identity
• Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms (e.g. Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Transmit, Azure AD B2C or similar)
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions in consulting or client-facing environments
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, UK Data Protection Act) and their impact on customer identity solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess challenges and propose effective solutions
• Well-organised with the ability to manage and support delivery across multiple or complex workstreams

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with modern identity and security approaches (e.g. Zero Trust, adaptive authentication, API security)
• Familiarity with frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Experience integrating CIAM platforms into wider enterprise environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, or directory services (e.g. Active Directory)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
