Job summary

North Oxford Garage is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in Oxford. You will be the main link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a friendly, efficient service during their vehicle’s visit.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and a customer-focused approach. Prior automotive service experience helps, but candidates with solid customer service background and an interest in the motor industry are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive customer service is advantageous.
• Strong customer service experience is welcome, with an interest in the motor industry.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and discuss servicing and repair requirements.
• Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments.
• Provide clear updates on work, costs and completion times.
• Prepare accurate estimates, invoices and other service documentation.
• Liaise with technicians, parts and other departments.
• Explain additional work and obtain customer authorisation.
• Promote relevant products and services to customers.
• Handle enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.
• Help the department achieve customer satisfaction and commercial targets.
