Job summary

Universal Business Team in Thetford is seeking a Sales & Customer Support Executive to join our growing team. As the main contact for an allocated portfolio, you will respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, and process orders to ensure a smooth customer journey.

You will work closely with Account Managers and other teams to deliver outstanding service, build product knowledge, and spot sales opportunities. This hands-on role suits someone proactive with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration or customer service is preferred.
• Attitude, initiative and willingness to learn are important.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a trusted day-to-day contact for an allocated portfolio of customers.
• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email with speed and professionalism.
• Preparing accurate quotations and processing orders from enquiry through to fulfilment.
• Building strong product knowledge to recommend suitable solutions.
• Taking ownership of customer problems and working with internal teams to find solutions.
• Following up on quotations and enquiries to pursue opportunities.
• Spotting potential sales opportunities and passing them to the relevant salesperson.
• Keeping customer, quotation and order information accurate and up to date.
• Collaborating with Sales, Logistics, Operations, Purchasing and Finance to deliver an excellent customer experience.
